We greatly appreciate the generosity of Claudia Vivas from Sonabank, who helped our families celebrate Valentine’s Day and improve their financial literacy. Nearly 70 parents and children turned out for our monthly Family Education event. The topic was “How to open and maintain a bank account to benefit the family,” one of a series of free banking skills classes that Claudia is presenting throughout the winter months to our Family Education groups. This heart-themed event included an Italian dinner and, of course, chocolates.
