We’re thankful for everyone who turned out for the 11^th annual Thanksgiving Dinner hosted by the INMED Opportunity Center’s Family Education Program at Douglass Community Center. We are especially grateful to the Leesburg Police Department, headed by Captain Jim Daly, Field Operations and Division Commander, for serving our families the delicious buffet, which was once again generously provided by Azmi Zarou, owner of Spanky’s Shenanigans in Leesburg. 

The INMED Opportunity Center staff orchestrated recreation activities for the children, then assisted during the meal service, to ensure that all 125 guests enjoyed their dining experience. We greatly appreciate the support and participation that the Leesburg Police Department, Spanky’s Shenanigans and the Douglass Community Center provides each year, so that we might continue to deliver this wonderful community outreach event to our program participants each Thanksgiving season.
