Studies show that parent engagement in the educational development of their children improves achievement more than any other single factor. At INMED’s Opportunity Center, we facilitate parent involvement to help our kids achieve their academic goals.

After-school coordinator Yahaira Hanon meets with parents monthly to update them on our academic enrichment activities and provide information on parenting topics, tips and community events they may want to enjoy with their children. This month, Yahaira invited the @LCPBSterling to make a presentation of its many free services for children and families. It’s a community treasure and terrific community partner!
