Students in INMED’s After-School Academic Enrichment program at the Opportunity Center became paleontologists for a day. In this science activity, students examined the “skeletal remains” of a T-rex dinosaur and its offspring. They took measurements, removed bones and reconstructed its feet and documented their findings. This creative exercise is one of many in INMED’s expanded #STEM activities at the Center, and it’s another way we’re preparing at-risk students for future success!
