January is National Mentoring Month!

Make an impact on low-income children and youth in Loudoun by becoming a mentor at INMED’s Opportunity Center in Sterling. Your time and attention can reshape the future of a child who is vulnerable to a lifetime of poverty, violence, homelessness or worse, like the young woman in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkqFFrvXZPA

Launched in 2002 by The National Mentoring Partnership (MENTOR) and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, National Mentoring Month raises awareness of the need for mentors, as well as how individuals, businesses, government agencies, schools, faith communities and nonprofits can make an impact.
