INMED celebrated National Volunteer Week with a special volunteer recognition event. Volunteers picnicked under the Center’s shade trees, enjoying a mouth-watering meal by ResQ BBQ. Programs Director Maria Vasquez and Volunteer Coordinator Erin Lewis recognized individual volunteers for their dedication, including Cathy Hall, a retired Booz Allen Hamilton employee, who has logged more than 100 hours over the past year. One of our middle school math tutors from the student volunteer organization P.A.S.T.A. (Peers and Students Taking Action), shared how meaningful his experience as an INMED volunteer has been.

Our staff at the Family & Youth Opportunity Center could not perform at the high level they do without the support of our volunteers! We can always use more volunteers for our growing list of programs at the Center.
