Attention all Computer C.O.R.E. participants at INMED’s Opportunity Center: The start date for the next round of classes has changed from February 6 to February 21. We still have a few slots open for interested students.

Administered by Computer C.O.R.E., the 6-month course offers college-level computer training and career development support to low-income adults in Northern Virginia. C.O.R.E. classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9 pm at 21630 Ridgetop Circle, Suite 130 in Sterling.

Upon completion of the course, students will be proficient in Microsoft Office 2010 programs Word, Excel and PowerPoint. They also will receive extensive instruction in Internet and email use, typing, resume and cover letter writing, effective interviewing skills, goal setting and career advancement strategies.
