A special thank-you to P.A.S.T.A. (Peers and Students Taking Action) volunteer Bianca for the anti-bullying workshop she created and facilitated for the students in INMED’s after-school program at the Family & Youth Opportunity Center in Sterling. She shared a PowerPoint depicting examples of being a bully and the types of bullying. After the presentation, our kids created their own pictures to share with the class about what a “bully” means and looks like to them. They also discussed ways to deflect bullies and how to report bullying of themselves and others.
