Mothers were celebrated early at INMED’s Family & Youth Opportunity Center. Last Friday, dozens of moms and their families gathered for our annual Mother’s Day dinner and family education night. Organizer Coralis Fernandez led a workshop on “The Cycle of Domestic Violence: How to Break It,” followed by a prize drawing, dinner and gifts sponsored by funders Promoting Safe and Stable Families (PSSF) and the Virginia Department of Family Services (VDSS).
